Tortoise Dangly Earrings by J. Crew

Some of you may have noticed several fashion bloggers wearing the fun and colorful tortoise + tassel or the tortoise + white dangly earrings by J. Crew recently. Although they are not something I would normally wear, I always thought they would be such a fun statement piece to have, and I loved the brightness they would bring to an outfit, especially for summer. I think lots of other people have been admiring them too because both styles are actually sold out now- well done, J. Crew! Well after admiring them on a few fashion bloggers, the pair of tortoise shell + white dangly chandelier earrings surprisingly arrived in my package from J. Crew. I had placed an order for a gold metal necklace, but I opened the box to find these fun earrings, which was definitely an accident by the J. Crew packaging department, but a happy one for sure!

I chose to pair them with an all white + neutral look so they would really stand out. I think the feminine ruffles and detail in this dress really went well with these fun and trendy earrings! When you have such a fun and bold accessory, I definitely recommend keeping the rest of the look fairly simple!
