When I found out one of my all time favorite bloggers was launching her own fashion collection, I could not have been more excited! If you do not know Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere, stop right now, and head over to her blog to get to know her… although I am sure most of you are already fans of hers! Emily is one of the very first bloggers I ever followed and has always inspired me. She is amazing and has accomplished incredible things in the past several years… like designing a handbag with Coach, writing two books, and now releasing her own fashion collection sold at Shopbop and Nordstrom! I am so happy and excited for her, and I have loved following along on her journey for the past seven years!
Some of you may have seen my post a couple weeks ago highlighting my favorite items from her collection... if not, click here to read it! The one piece I could not take my eye off of was this lace mini skirt. I loved that Emily included pretty lace garments in her collection, because I have always admired some of the beautiful lace garments she has worn in her outfit posts over the years (see here, here, and here). The delicate white lace of this skirt is even more beautiful in person, and I love the layering of it with the raw scalloped edge at the bottom. I also love how the skirt is just fitted enough but not too fitted :) I am already imagining the infinite number of ways I’m going to style it!
