Some of my favorite memories from my family's annual trips to The Greenbrier are those spent on and around the tennis courts. Being one of five children in my family, when we were little my dad took every chance he could get to rally us all up for a morning or afternoon of tennis. Being one of the youngest, I usually took more joy in dressing the part than trying to compete with my older brothers. And many times, I found myself trading in time on the court for time in the pro shop browsing the latest arrivals. If there is a single sport's fashion that I admire most, it is definitely tennis. The pleated hems, the stripes, and the overall preppy feel of the apparel has always fancied me!

This sweater I am wearing is one of my very favorites from the entire collection because of the bold stripes and classic v-neck. I paired the sweater with this classic, pleated skirt; I really like the added detail of the color blocking along the hem that really makes it stand out. A little more about The Greenbrier + Tennis: The Greenbrier has an incredible tennis facility with 5 indoor courts and 5 outdoor ones. A little over a year ago, they unveiled their new Center Court at Creekside, which is a beautiful tennis stadium set along Howard's Creek, and I was actually at the resort with my family for the grand opening and had the chance to meet the band members of Earth, Wind, and Fire before they performed the opening concert! You never know who you will run into at The Greenbrier, and I will definitely never forget meeting them! The Greenbrier has hosted many incredible tennis players, including Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Venus Williams, and more on these beautiful courts!
