You know those things that you love receiving as a gift but would never specifically buy for yourself? This scarf is one of those things for me! Although I would probably never pick it up in a store, I was thrilled when I opened my Popsugar Must Have Box the other day and found it inside! It has quickly become my favorite item included in this month's box! 

I had never worn a skinny scarf before now, but I LOVE the trend and am so happy to have this one to wear throughout the rest of the summer and into fall! I think skinny scarves are such a fun and updated accessory to add more detail to any outfit. I love that this scarf is a classic black and white pattern, so I played off those colors and paired it with a simple white tank (on sale under $40) and my favorite little black skirt. [Side note: The tank I'm wearing is actually one of my favorite recent finds; the fabric is unbelievably soft, the criss cross detail in the back is so cute, it comes in 3 colors, and you can't beat it's price.] I also wore these lace up heels (on sale) to dress things up a little!
