Finding the perfect blend between classics and trends is something that I am always thinking about when it comes to fashion and shopping. If I ever have to make a decision between purchasing a classic piece or a trendy item, I will 9 times out of 10 choose the classic one. At the same time though, I love finding pretty trendy things that add some excitement to my wardrobe! It's all about balance!
Denim and leather are two classics that I love, which is why I enjoy shopping at Madewell so much. I know that I will always be able to find a pair of jeans that fits all my requirements, a new pretty leather bag that is simple and stylish, or a unique top that I won't be able to stop wearing. Madewell does a fabulous job at designing updated classic pieces with in an artful and effortless way!
For this outfit, I kept to the classics: denim and leather, but I paired them with this white bell sleeve top (under $60) to bring a little trendiness to the look. I love love love the contrast of the bright white bell sleeves (I am loving the bell sleeve trend right now!) against the dark blue jeans and pretty leather bag. Blue, white, and brown is a color combination that will never get old!
