Fall fashion is all about layering and one of my very favorite layering items is the trench vest. It adds so much more interest and detail to an outfit and truly pulls a look together, without adding too much warmth in the early days of fall (this is especially important for those of us in the South)! The trench vest is also a really versatile piece that can be worn with everything. From dresses to skirts to white jeans to dark jeans, this vest adds a pretty extra layer to any outfit. Also, this vest has been one of my favorite finds, because the olive green color is essentially a neutral in my fall wardrobe. It pairs well with brown, black, white, navy, gray, blush, and just about any other pretty fall hue!
Another item from this outfit that has quickly become a staple in my early fall wardrobe are these sneakers! I have always been huge fan of pretty sneakers, but I have never had a pair of high top ones like these. Last season, I was dying to try this trend, but unfortunately this pair sold out before I could get my hands on them. Luckily, I got in the game a little earlier this year and found these pretty suede ones in my size! They are so incredibly comfortable and come in a few more colors here! Also, my sister just got them in this color, so you may be seeing them on the blog too :)
P.s. Have you seen my big blog post rounding up the top trending colors for fall?! I've linked all my favorite items in each color here!
