If I had to choose one color combo to wear for the rest of my life, there is a very high chance I would choose blue and white. This outfit combines several of my favorite spring trends, off the shoulder top, bell sleeves, and espadrilles, all into one look!
First, let's talk about these espadrilles! About a month ago, Fani of Maslinda Designs messaged me on Instagram about her designs and was so kind to offer to gift me a pair of her beautiful espadrilles. Fast forward a few weeks to when the mail man knocked on my door with a package I had to sign for, all bundled up and decorated with beautiful Greek stamps. At first, I was clueless to what this package was from half way around the world. It had been a few weeks since I received Fani's original message, and I had completely forgotten about the pretty espadrilles that were coming my way. As soon as I started unwrapping the package and uncovering the sandals (directly from Greece!), as well as a note from the designer Fani and unique beaded bracelet to go along with it, I was in complete awe of these beautiful shoes and Fani's creation.
Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in mass produced products, fast fashion, and not give two seconds of thought to who made our clothes or where they came from, but I absolutely LOVE when I get the chance to learn more about the hands and hearts behind the products I wear. It makes me feel so much happier and more confident about the clothes I am wearing. There are SO many talented artists, creators, and designers like Fani out there, and one of my very favorite parts of blogging is being able to connect and learn more from these incredibly inspiring people! Thank you, Fani, for inspiring me! Read more about Fani's story here and shop my exact espadrilles here!
A lot of times when getting dressed, I start picking out my outfit by choosing shoes first. I started with these blue and white espadrilles, then decided to wear this blue top and these white jeans to keep the blue and white theme going. For a pop of color, I wore this neon clutch too!
