Pineapple Shift Dress in Charleston

with Ashley Brooke of Ashley Brooke Designs + Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam

dress: Alice + Olivia (also here and here in more sizes) | shoes: Tory Burch (similar) | bag: Cult Gaia (new acrylic style here) | earrings: Nicola Bathie (c/o) | cuff: Tory Burch | bracelets: David Yurman | watch: MICHELE (c/o)

A couple weeks before my trip to Charleston, I spotted this adorable pineapple printed dress on Shopbop's site! Without hesitation I added it to my cart and knew it would be the perfect shift to wear in Charleston! The colors, print, and style make it one of the cutest and happiest dresses for spring. It's one of those dresses that just makes me happy looking at it, because the print is so fun!

I wore this outfit to the Skinny Dip Charleston Grand Opening Party on Friday night, which was such a fun event celebrating one of the best new stores in town. I had the best time meeting and chatting with some of the incredibly talented artists, designers, and creators behind Skinny Dip's brands as well as other bloggers there to celebrate. If you are not familiar with Skinny Dip, head here to see more about it.  For the event, I paired the pineapple dress with this popular bamboo bag (new acrylic style here), Nicola Bathie earrings, and a pair of white espadrilles (similar here and here) for a casual, resort style look.
