Fashion Favorite: Basket Bags

From runway to street style to bloggers, basket bags are EVERYWHERE right now.  Basket bags are a huge trend for spring and summer and definitely one of my favorite accessories this season. I am in love with the texture they add to any outfit, and the natural (straw/wicker) element they bring to any look is so perfect for this time of year!

Basket bags come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, so it can be challenging picking the one perfect for you. A few things to consider- what will you be wearing it for? what will you be wearing it with? If you are looking for a cute crossbody to wear with sundresses and summery outfits, I would go for this round bag or this pom pom one. If you are looking for a clutch to wear to summer weddings or other special events, I would choose this structured one. If you are looking for a large tote to wear at the beach/ on vacation or just a bigger bag to carry everyday, this one and this one are my picks for you!

I had been searching for the perfect one to add to my closet until I finally found this one that fit all my requirements! A few things that sold me on it were 1) the round shape 2) the color 3) the adorable lining 4) the price 5) it's on sale. TBH, I'm not a huge fan of the colorful tassels on it (see here), so I'll probably end up taking them off to make it a more versatile/neutral bag!
