Never underestimate the power of a simple graphic tee. A graphic tee is an item that may be overlooked by many, but it is truly one of the more versatile items you can own. It's perfect for paring with shorts, skirts, jeans, and more for casual, chic outfits that can be worn day or night. When worn with all the right accessories, a graphic tee expresses a relaxed sense of elegance with no fuss. When shopping, I especially love finding super soft graphic tees (like this one) that feel comfortable and worn in- those are the ones I find myself reaching for morning after morning in my closet.
To create a more dressed up look with a graphic tee, all it takes is the right skirt! I purchased this skirt as a set with this top a few weeks ago but decided to change up the look of it by pairing it with this cute tee. Y'all know stripes are my weakness as well as my go-to pattern, so it was a no brainer to pair this tee and skirt together. I really love the "On Island Time" embroidery of the top... it has me dreaming of endless days by the ocean.
To accessorize the top and skirt, I wore these tassel heels, this straw hat, and one of my favorite new watches from MICHELE. How striking is the cobalt blue color of this Cape watch?! I love the bright pop of color it adds to my outfit, and the silicone strap makes it the perfect accessory for summer and all the beach trips ahead! This watch also comes in several other pretty colors here (the blush pink one is so adorable).
