This pink skirt remains one of my favorite spring purchases (see how I wore it a few weeks ago here), and I have been not-so-patiently waiting for the chance to wear it again. I decided to bring it to Point Clear and the beach with me this past weekend and wore this outfit out to dinner Saturday night. Pink and white is always a bright and happy color combo for summer, and I loved the pairing of all the ruffles in the top and the skirt. The tie-waist detail of the top dressed things down a bit, and I accessorized this look with this gray bag and these platform sandals.
The golden hour right before sunset is easily one of my favorite times of day, and the sunsets in Point Clear are always some of the very best. There is something almost magical about the summer sunsets here with the breeze coming off Mobile Bay, the cicadas singing in the trees, and watching the sky turn the most gorgeous shades of pink and orange. Sitting and watching the sunset over the bay Saturday night, I just wanted to soak it all in and make it last forever.
