Happy Wednesday! My apologies for the lack of content here on the blog over the past couple weeks. Several things outside of the blog have been taking up a whole lot of my time this past month (more on that later), but I am so excited to be back today and sharing the first post from my trip to Boston!

If you have been following along on Instagram, you probably know that I've spent the past few days in Boston exploring and attending a few exciting events! It was a weekend packed with excitement, joy, lots of laughs, new experiences, and truly the best of times with my brothers. I am so grateful for the time we got to spend in this city!

We lucked out with the best weather in Boston, and on our first day in the city we headed out to Charles Town for lunch at Pier 6Pier 6 is a waterfront restaurant with the most amazing view of the city and Boston Harbor. We sat on the porch of the restaurant's second story and enjoyed our meal outside, while soaking up some sunshine, taking in the cool Boston breeze, and gazing at the beautiful skyline. It was easily one of my favorite parts of the trip. For anyone from Alabama, I would say Pier 6 is Boston's version of The Gulf restaurant in Orange Beach. The decor was so pretty and nautical (and very instagrammable), the service was super friendly, and our meal was delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Boston area!

For our waterfront lunch, I wore a striped dress I purchased at Willow in Rosemary Beach a few weeks ago. I couldn't find the exact one available online, but I found a similar one by the same brand on sale here. I paired the dress with these sneakers (on sale here), this tote bag, and these statement earrings for a casual daytime look. Of all the things I brought to Boston, these sneakers were definitely my most worn item. I found them on sale right before we left town, and I'm so glad I did because they were the perfect travel shoe to throw on with just about every outfit (jeans, shorts, dress, etc). Also, the higher platform style makes them unbelievably comfortable... I literally walked miles in them! I'm excited to continue wearing them throughout fall with jeans, sweaters, and more dresses. They also come in a few more colors on sale here
