Only two more days until we can officially say it’s Christmastime! I want to soak up every second of Thanksgiving, because it is really one of my very favorite holidays (nothing beats crisp fall weather, yummy food, and time at the farm with all my favorite people under one roof). However, I am equally excited and looking forward to Christmastime and all the fun things to come in the next month!

When thinking about holiday fashion, one of the first things that comes to mind is plaid. Plaid is a pattern I am always drawn to this time of year, because I love how equally festive and classic it is.

I especially love Draper James’s take on plaid this year! They have just released several new plaid items on their site, including the dress I am wearing today. It’s an easy shift style dress that can be dressed up with heels (like I wore it here) for holiday parties/special events or dressed down with black booties for more casual outings. I was especially drawn to the red plaid because of how Christmas-y it felt, but it also comes in a navy colorway here that is just as pretty! This top and this skirt are two other plaid pretties from Draper James that I adore. The ruffle details are precious! See a few more plaid picks below.
