There are few things I love more than a day of polo with friends and family, especially on a 75 degree day in the middle of February. A couple weeks ago I had the joy of attending the Windsor Charity Polo Cup at Windsor near Vero Beach, Florida, and it was certainly a day to remember. 💙 From the gorgeous setting, to delicious food, to beautiful ponies, to talented players, to the endless fashion, this was easily one of my most favorite days!
For a sunny day of polo in South Florida, I wore a blue and white ruffle dress and a few of my favorite accessories from J. McLaughlin, like these heels and this round wicker bag. My obsession with round bags is definitely continuing this season! If you are on the hunt for a cute round bag, this wicker one under $150 is definitely my top pick! J. McLaughlin was one of the sponsors of the big event and had the cutest pop up shop at Windsor for the day. This was my first time to visit Windsor, and WOW, it is unreal! If any of you have been following along here for any time at all, then you know how much I adore Seaside, Florida and love visiting the colorful beachside town each spring and summer. The towns of Seaside and Windsor were both designed by master planners and architects Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk. There are many similarities between the two beautiful beach destinations- amazing architecture, an appreciation for the arts, a focus on family, and a wide range of activities/amenities for everyone! Windsor sets itself apart from Seaside with a full equestrian center (the barn is too pretty!), golf course, and beach club. I only wish we had more time to explore Windsor and I am dying to go back one day soon! Read more about the Windsor community on Architectural Digest here.
One of the highlights of my day at Windsor was chatting with Nacho and Delfi Figueras after the polo match! They are two of the kindest and loveliest people I have ever met, and I am always inspired by their travels, their (impeccable and effortless) style, and their love for family. They do the most amazing job of bringing polo to the public eye through the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic held each year in New York and Los Angeles.
