Colored jeans are making a comeback in all the prettiest pastel hues this season, and I could not be more excited about it! During this transitional time from Winter to Spring, jeans or pants of any sort are usually one of the first things I reach for when getting dressed each morning. While I love all shades of blue denim, I am really into the whimsy and personality that comes with wearing colored denim, especially pretty pastel denim.
The last time colored jeans were really popular (spring 2013 I believe), I was 17 and had just discovered one of my favorite denim styles: the Nico Mid-Rise Ankle Super Skinny Jeans by Hudson. I purchased this exact pair of jeans in 3 different shades, one being this pretty purple pair! I think I wore this pair of purple pants weekly for almost a year until the trend faded and they found a new home tucked away in the back of my closet.
Fast forward five years to today and the lilac jeans are back! When I saw this pair of lilac denim pants come down the runway in September, my mind immediately jumped to my beloved purple pants and couldn't wait to bring them back out for spring. While I cannot find this exact style/shade of jeans available anywhere (bring them back, Hudson!), I have found lots and lots of cute colored jeans in stores right now.
