It's definitely a challenge to pick the biggest highlight from our trip to Amelia Island (every event, activity, and meal was so fun), but one of my very favorite things we got to do was go sailing!

I started counting down to our sailing excursion from the minute I first received our itinerary. Of course, I immediately started planning what I was going to wear as well. When I think of sailing, I think of stripes and lots of blue and white, so that's just what I wore. When packing for the trip, I was unsure what the weather would be like, so I brought a few striped options just in case... you can never pack enough stripes! The temperatures were a bit cooler at night, so I ended up wearing this long sleeve tee, these white jeans, and these sneakers. My tee and sneakers are both under $100.

For our sunset sail, we left from Fernandina Beach (one of the cutest towns I have ever visited), a short drive from the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island (our home for the weekend) and sailed around Cumberland Island. We were really hoping to see some of the wild horses that inhabit Cumberland Island, but we didn't have any luck. I'm dying to go back and hopefully see them next time! If you get the chance to visit Amelia Island, you have to go sailing (we went with Windward Sailing- ask for Captain John)! It's one of the most fun ways to end the day and watch the beautiful sunset over the water.
