Whenever somebody asks me about my blog and what inspired me to start it, I think back to the year 2008. This was the year I first discovered this fascinating online platform and began reading/following the blogs of some of my favorite ladies that have continued to inspire me for the past 10 years.

I think I have mentioned this on my site and Instagram before, but Emily Schuman's blog Cupcakes & Cashmere was one of the very first blogs I ever discovered and love reading each and every day. One of my favorite things about blogging is seeing women carve their own paths and use their platforms to do really really amazing things- writing books, designing fashion collections, creating home collections, and more. Emily has done it all and has accomplished so much in the past 10 years. I will always look up to her and am constantly inspired by all she does!
