Fall Travel Outfit

Today is the day! I am off to NYC, and I could not be more thrilled NYFW is finally here... it feels like a dream (read more here)!

I shot this outfit ahead of time, so I could give y'all a little peek at what I'm wearing for my travel day to the city! Cargo pants have been making a bit of a comeback for a little while now, and these silky drawstring pants are definitely my favorite take on the trend. I found these at Alys Shoppe during my last visit to 30A, and when I spotted them on the rack I knew they would be perfect for upcoming travel days. My two biggest requirements for a good travel outfit are comfort and versatility, and these pants definitely check both of those boxes. I actually think they may be the most comfortable pants I own at the moment.

When flying, driving, or doing any sort of traveling, I always like to wear an outfit that can easily take me from day to night and whatever the day holds. These pants do just that and can be dressed up or down with sandals, sneakers, or even heels. For today's travel look, I paired the pants with my favorite white tank (also seen in yesterday's post), a denim jacket (a fall wardrobe essential), and my new go-to sneakers. I've learned that layering is key when flying, so wearing a light layer like this tank with a denim jacket is the perfect combo.
