On Wednesday (see post here) I mentioned that I really hope to be able to use my blog and instagram over the coming weeks to support and bring more attention to the small brands and businesses that I love. I know everything going on right now is presenting countless challenges for so many.
Small businesses are especially close to my heart because these are the people and brands that have been some of the biggest supporters of both me and my business over the past few years. It pains me to see all the challenges they are facing right now. I love getting to partner with small businesses here on my blog and chatting with the owners, founders, and creators behind so many beautiful products and designs. There is something so special about getting to hear the brand story and chat with the founder and creator of a brand first hand… and I am so thankful for every opportunity to do that!
Over the past several years of blogging, I have absolutely loved getting to know the founders, owners, and total girl bosses behind some really incredible small businesses. The ladies behind so many of the small businesses I love are not just entrepreneurs- but mothers, sisters, friends, and just really incredible people that inspire me immensely.
Today I am excited to feature Hampden Clothing and some of my favorite new styles on their site that are all on sale! The founder of Hampden, Stacy Smallwood, curates the most amazing selection of designer fashion pieces from around the world in her store based in Charleston, South Carolina. She literally travels around the world season after to season to hand select these pieces for her clients and loyal shoppers. She has the most amazing eye and endless fashion wisdom. Stacy has been the sweetest friend and biggest cheerleader to me over the years. To know her is to love her! Unfortunately the Hampden stores on King Street are temporarily closed, but luckily everything in store is also available to shop online!
The Hampden website is incredible and full of lots of new pretty spring/summer pieces right now. I love just going there to get styling and outfit inspiration because all of the items in store are styled in outfit photos on their site… and instagram as well (see here). As soon as this passes, Charleston is one of the first places I hope to visit to see and shop all of Stacy’s stylish finds in person!
