This year marks 6 years (!!) of attending one of my very favorite conferences- The Southern C Summit at Sea Island, Georgia. If you have been reading/ following my blog for any length of time, you probably know how much I LOVE this conference and how much it has meant to me and my business over the past 6+ years. Anybody who knows me has probably heard me go on and on.. and on.. about how much I treasure this week each year to meet and connect with other inspiring creatives from all over the country. I have said it before but I have to say it again… I would 10000% not be where I am or doing what I am doing today without the support and encouragement of the TSC Community that I feel so lucky to be a part of.

As I started prepping for The Southern C Summit this year, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that Lela Rose would be joining the fun and speaking at the conference. I have admired Lela’s work for years as a fashion designer from the South, and have always been inspired by her iconic (and colorful! And fun!) brand. In addition to her eponymous Lela Rose RTW line of clothing, Lela launched the RTW direct-to-consumer Pearl by Lela Rose line in 2018. I just adore all that Lela continues to create year after year!

Having been a big fan of the Pearl by Lela Rose collection since its launch and shooting outfits for them a few times over the years, I started dreaming about wearing all things Pearl to the TSC Summit this year. After a few emails back and forth with their team, I was so thrilled to officially partner with them and wear new designs from their brand new Spring 22 line as an ambassador for their brand throughout the week at Sea Island.

When the Pearl team sent over their Spring 22 Lookbook to choose a few pieces from, I was speechless at all the beauty! This line is filled with so many pretty and wearable styles that are perfect for the sunny days ahead. The collection feels happy, sophisticated and polished all at once.

Fast forward to TSC Summit where I got to meet the one and only Lela Rose (!!), be a part of her mentor group, and wear all the pretty outfits seen above. Talk about a full circle moment! Lela is every bit as joyful, witty, and kind as I ever could have imagined. She was an open book full of wit and wisdom, and I will forever treasure getting to hear from and learn from her during these 3 days at the conference.
