Weekends at the farm bring rest and perspective, and I could not be more grateful for both.
STYLING TIP: As I mentioned in this post (all about my favorite Barbour jackets) a couple weeks ago, investing in the right outerwear pieces is one of the best ways to save money long term and add style to your wardrobe for many years to come. A Barbour jacket is a forever purchase that will outlive just about every other item in your closet. For me, this jacket is a winter essential and one I layer on top of countless outfits throughout the colder months. The olive color pairs perfectly with the other white, tan, blush, and brown tones I often wear throughout winter (as seen in today's outfit), and it really becomes a neutral for me this time of year. This jacket's relaxed sophistication, beautiful design, and durable quality makes it a long lasting piece I will never tire of wearing.
OUTFIT HIGHLIGHT: When searching for the perfect pair of winter boots, there are lots of things to consider: height (heel and shaft), color, material, comfort, design details, and more. These Frye boots (currently on sale) are a tried and true pair I have owned and worn for over 5 years, and I will forever be loyal to them. Something about the classic, simple, non-embellished design and beautiful leather keeps me coming back to them season after season. While I definitely get a lot of wear out of these boots at the farm, they are a great boot for everyday as well and come in more colors here. See 10 more boots and booties perfect for winter below!
