A few weeks ago I had the chance to attend the most fun event here in Birmingham- the Bella Dahl Shop-In-Shop opening party at Soca Boutique in Homewood. Birmingham is far from the fashion capitals of the world, so it is always extra exciting when fashion events like this take place in our city! It was the biggest honor to get to spend the evening with the Bella Dahl team right here in Birmingham and celebrate the launch of their new Shop-In-Shop at Soca.
I cannot say enough amazing things about the Bella Dahl team and this wonderful event. I was so thrilled to have the chance to meet Bella Dahl’s CEO, Senior Designer, Director of Retail Operations, and more members of their incredible team, and it was so inspiring to hear more about their brand and vision firsthand. Getting to talk to their Senior Designer Chelsea about the unique fabrics, production techniques, and all that happens behind the scenes to bring each garment to life was probably the highlight of the night. I am always so fascinated and intrigued by the world of fashion design and apparel construction. I could have spent all night listening to her talk about all the little details and careful thought that goes into designing each Bella Dahl item.
Some of you may be wondering what the Bella Dahl “Shop-In-Shop” is- just like I was when I first received the invite. Bella Dahl has chosen three locations across the United States that best represent the demographic of their customer and launched Bella Dahl shops within three different existing stores. The three locations are Sunny Days in Laguna Beach, CA; Gypsy Soul in Chagrin Falls, Ohio; and Soca in Birmingham, Alabama! Read more about it in the WWD article here.
For those of you in Birmingham, this essentially means Soca will now be carrying even more Bella Dahl items than ever before and is your go-to spot for soft, relaxed day to night fashion pieces!
I have been a big Bella Dahl fan for years and always reach for their soft button downs to pair with everything from jeans to skirts to shorts and everything in-between. The best thing about shopping and wearing Bella Dahl pieces is that you never have to sacrifice comfort for style. All of their designs are equally soft and fashionable.
For the event, the Bella Dahl team was so kind to gift me/ let me pick out this top and these jogger pants to wear. I chose this classic white top for its versatility, and I have been living in it for the past month. I think I’ve worn it at least twice a week since the event! This was my first time to wear a pair of Bella Dahl’s pants, and I am completely hooked now and want these joggers in every color.
