Happy Cinco de Mayo! I love a brand with an amazing story, and Mi Golondrina, the brand behind this top, is definitely one with a unique background. Christina Lynch, the designer, has combined her Mexican heritage with her eye for fashion to create an incredible line of clothing, jewelry, and bedding. Each individual item is embroidered and constructed by hand by women in Mexico, which is so inspiring and refreshing to hear in today's world of factories and mass production. The skill, creativity, and passion of these women can be seen in each and every single Mi Golondrina piece. The vibrant colors and gorgeous embroidery is truly amazing!

While I was wearing this top, I couldn't help but look down in amazement at all the incredible work that went into creating such  a beautiful piece of fashion. I seriously couldn't stop staring at all the embroidery and colorful threads woven into beautiful patterns!

The Puebla style dress is one of my favorite international fashion designs, and you can read more about its history in my Cinco de Mayo post from last year here

p.s. While writing this post, I found out that Mi Golondrina was just featured in Vogue yesterday... so awesome! Read the story here!

p.s.s. A few Mi Goldondrina items are available on Moda Operandi right now! Take a look!
