Introducing the New LCB Style + Photography
Welcome, welcome! I am so excited to share my new website design with you today.
One thing I have always loved about the career journey that I’m on is that creative careers seem to always be evolving- with one door leading to another.
Many of you have followed along on Instagram and watched my career evolve over the years… and as so much of my work has shifted to photography over the past year, I have been eager to create a new site that more accurately reflects my current work and what I have been up to. I have been really looking forward to getting to share this new site with you!
As y’all know, I am not very good at short stories… so here is a little update about how my business has evolved and what I am up to these days!
As many of you know, I began LCB STYLE as a creative outlet during my freshman year of college as a fashion design major, and when my college path took a non traditional turn (read the full story here), this space grew into so much more than I ever could have imagined. God has a crazy amazing way of working things together- in a much more beautiful way than I could ever dream up myself.
Since launching my blog in 2015 as a freshman in college, I have been creating fashion, travel, and beauty stories to share with you on LCB STYLE. I have been incredibly honored to partner with fashion and travel brands, hotels, and destinations around the world to bring products and places to life through visual storytelling… and share all of this with you!
These 6+ years of creating content and writing 100s of stories for my blog + social channels led me to discover and embrace the passion I have for helping others create beautiful imagery through the art of photography.
While working with brands of all different shapes + sizes here on LCB STYLE, I found that most of them had one thing in common: they were all in need of content, content and more content. A couple years ago, a few of the brands I was partnering with were beginning to take notice of my photography style and asking to hire me on a purely content creation basis- to help them create beautiful images for their own website + social channels.
Upon moving to Palm Beach, Florida in 2019, I began offering photography services to clients. Over the past year, working with photography clients (more on that here) has become my main focus of work, and I feel so lucky to work with brands, creatives, designers, couples, and families from across the country to create striking images that share the story of each brand + individual in a beautiful way.
While blogging here on LCB STYLE and sharing the latest on my Instagram will always be core to my business (I’m not going anywhere :) , I am really loving this new chapter of my business- pursuing photography (in addition to blogging) and working with others to capture the beauty of their stories.
With experience being both in front and behind the lens, it has been fun to bring a fresh and unique perspective to photoshoots, helping clients create images that inspire and perform well across their platforms.
I have loved dreaming up photoshoots with clients- helping with everything from creating mood boards, finding models, coordinating product, styling looks, deciding shoot locations, shooting/ editing photos… and everything else inbetween!
Many of my past blog partners have now become photography clients, and it is such a joy to step behind the lens and create alongside such talented people! You can read testimonials from recent shoots here.
