Jetset Diaries: Week 1 // Cannes

When I think of summer, I think of travel! Now that Memorial Day, the official start of summer, is almost here, I want to begin a new series on LCB Style today focused on travel fashion! I am always dreaming of new vacation destinations and places I would love to visit and explore, and I want to share some of my finds with you! See my "Day Dream" travel pinterest board here for some of my most recent travel inspiration!

I know lots of you have so many fun plans for the summer, and I want to provide a bit of travel and fashion inspiration for you! Over the coming weeks, I will be sharing a new destination and a packing list/ fashion finds to go with it. Let’s all dream a little bit and pretend we’re all jetting off on a fabulous trip together... with a new destination each week! Seriously, how fun would that be?!

Please share in the comments some suggestions for destinations you would like me to cover and/or places you are headed this summer!

DESTINATION 1: CANNES, FRANCE

To kickoff this series, the first stop on our vacation is Cannes, one of the most beautiful resort towns on the coast of France! With the Cannes Film Festival going on now, what better time to visit the French Riviera! Many bloggers, models, and celebrities alike have spent the past week getting glammed up and gracing the red carpet for some of the latest films. The French Coast seems to be one of the most picture perfect settings, and I would absolutely love to see all the prettiness (currently visualizing the countless striped umbrellas, gorgeous architecture, and stunning sunsets) this time of year!

FASHION

When planning what to pack for Cannes, I think it is essential to stick to the basics with just a few stand out pieces. I would probably spend all my mornings by the ocean, stop by a cute cafe for lunch, and save some time for shopping/ exploring in the afternoon before heading off to a delicious dinner! Because it is a beach town, I wouldn't want to pack anything too fussy, but instead I would bring along classic items that are very versatile and ones that can be layered. I would definitely bring lots of stripes, little white dresses, and a few statement sandals! Take a look at my dream packing list for Cannes (click side arrows to scroll)!
