Happy Wednesday from Palm Beach! Meet my summer uniform: the little white dress. I have raved about my love for little white dresses here on the blog many times (see here, here, and here), and they continue to be a staple in my closet year after year.
When shopping or thinking about purchasing something new, one thing I always ask myself is “how versatile is this piece/ how many ways can I wear it?” I am a big fan of buying less and really maximizing the potential of each piece in my wardrobe, so versatility is always on my mind. Annnnd if you ask me, there are few things more versatile than a little white dress.
A little white dress is an absolute wardrobe must have! From day to night, from work to weekend, from casual to fancy, little white dresses can be dressed up or down and worn hundreds of ways. They always feel so bright and fresh and provide endless options for accessorizing. Some of my favorite ways to accessorize white dresses are…
all white (white dress with all white accessories)
white and neutral (white dress with tan handbag, shoes, earrings, etc.)
white and one other color (choose one other color and keep all your accessories in this family - ex: pink, blue, etc.)
white and black (white dress with all black accessories- throw on a silk scarf to elevate the look)
For summertime here in Palm Beach, I love slipping on a little white dress in the morning that I can wear for work (computer work outside/ coffee meeting/ shooting pics) during the day and go straight to dinner (outside/socially distanced at the moment) in without having to come home and change.
