Monday Q&A No. 18
Happy Monday! Wow, it’s been a minute since I have sat down to write a Monday Q&A post… so excited to jump back into things today!
First off, hope you and your loved ones are doing well and had a happy weekend! It seems like many of you are getting your first taste of fall with cooler temperatures and the chance to slip on a few more layers. It is still rather hot here in Palm Beach, so we spent the weekend riding bikes, swimming, and trying to stay cool best we could- it’s definitely still sundress and sandals weather here. I think the temperatures are supposed to drop a whole 5 degrees (!!) today, so I am super thrilled about that.
With my recent move (more on that soon- still here in Palm Beach!), I spent a chunk of time Saturday organizing and getting more things situated. I also ventured over to Antique Row in West Palm with a friend to explore some of the home stores (see pics below). It’s so inspiring to see different styles and perspectives on home design here - from ultra modern to mid century to antiques and everything in between. Anyways, sorry for the rambling intro. I’d love to hear what you have been up to! Any fun happenings this weekend?!

1. Details on the rings you have on in all your IG stories? My daily jewelry is always evolving and changing, but there are definitely a handful of pieces that I wear no matter what every single day. When it comes to rings, I am a big fan of layering and stacking. Currently I have four in rotation that I wear every single day! Here are the details and stories behind each one:
Thin Diamond band (worn on my left middle finger): My mom, my sister, and I were all given this exact same thin stackable band on my sister’s wedding day to celebrate and remember the special time.
Stacked Diamond band (worn on my left middle finger): Currently on loan from my sister :)
Vintage Hermes Buckle Ring (worn on my right middle finger): This ring was a birthday gift several years ago! My mom and sister found it at a vintage jewelry trunk show.
Cathy Waterman Gem Stone Ring (worn on my right middle finger): A gift from my parents and a favorite Cathy Waterman find from Etc. in Mountain Brook, Alabama.
2. What is your favorite mascara at the moment? Big fan of layering mascaras! My two current favorites are from L’Oreal and BeautyCounter. I start with the BeautyCounter one that lengthens my lashes and then layer the L’Oreal one on top for more volume!
3. Looking for a cute fall poncho! Any recommendations? Ah! Funny you ask this because I just discovered one that I am obsessed with yesterday. This beauty from Alice Walk is on my fall wishlist! Linking more favorites below.
4. What hair tools do you use? There are two hair tools that I use just about daily- I use this travel blow dryer and this curling wand (currently on sale here)!
5. What are your favorite places to shop for home decor, linens, etc.? Home decor is definitely at the top of my mind right now as I have just moved apartments here in Palm Beach! I am so excited to refresh some of the decor in my new space and share more with you soon. A few of my go-to stores for all things home are One Kings Lane (great sale happening now!), Wayfair, West Elm, Pepper, Serena and Lily, Caitlin Wilson, Overstock, Chairish, Dear Keaton, Mainly Baskets, Lulu and Georgia, and I’m probably forgetting a million others.
