Nordstrom Giveaway | #NSALE Series No. 1
Happy Wednesday! Today I am so excited to share a little bit about one of the BEST sales of the year coming up and a huge giveaway featuring a $1225 gift card to Nordstrom (scroll to the bottom to enter)!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just about a week away! If you are not familiar with this sale, you definitely should be! Next Thursday, July 14 (or July 22 for non-card holders), Nordstrom releases tons and tons of designers' new fall arrivals on MAJOR SALE. It's already pretty awesome that you are able to see and shop all the cute things for fall ahead of time... I always love getting first glimpse at all the fall trends (especially seeing the new Tory Burch boot styles and Rebecca Minkoff bags)! But secondly, it's even more amazing that they're ON SALE. At the end of sale period (August 7th), all items will return to their original price. If you think about it, it's kind of crazy (in a good way!!) that Nordstrom puts all their BRAND NEW new arrivals for fall on sale, so be sure not to miss the sale!
4 SALE TIPS
1. MAKE A LIST: Before the sale starts, think about your wardrobe and your needs. It's easy to get wrapped up buying things you don't truly need during a sale, so it is best to make a list of things you want to purchase before the sale starts! Some of the most popular sale categories are purses, jewelry, dresses, watches, skirts, and outerwear. Because it is rare to get such large discounts on designer bags, shoes, jewelry, and watches, the #NSALE really is a great time to make those bigger purchases.
2. SHOP EARLY: Get what you want before it sells out! This tip is pretty simple, but you do not want to pass up some of these amazing deals. One year, I had my eyes set on the cutest pair of Tory Burch riding boots, but unfortunately they sold out before I could make up my mind. So I spent all fall thinking about how I wished I had snagged them! Don't let that be you! :) You can also sign up to be a Nordstrom Card Member to get early access to the sale... this will ensure that you will get the sizes and styles you want! 3. MAKE ROOM: One of my favorite things to do (when I make the time) is clean out my closet. My closet is a space that can get a little full, and I get lazy from time to time about keeping things super organized (especially with all my packing/ unpacking during the summer). There is nothing more refreshing then getting rid of things I do not need and organizing my clothes. This is the best time to clean out and giveaway items to make a little more room for any new purchases from the #NSALE!
4. SAVE UP: It can seem kind of irrational to be spend your money on a pair of leather boots, a wool coat, or fall handbag in the middle of July (especially in the South since it is currently 96 degrees!!), but it is SO worth it. You will be so glad you did when the weather finally cools off and you get to slip on that amazing pair of shoes or handbag that you scored on major sale! Start saving up and cutting out unnecessary purchases, so you can shop this awesome sale!
