Top 5 Beach Travel Essentials

MY TOP 5 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

1. SWIMSUIT

Fashion definitely carries over from the streets to the beach, and I love seeing all the new fun swim lines that come out each spring! Right now, Same Swim and Marysia are my two favorites! Whether I am headed to the beach or the lake, a bathing suit is always in my bag and definitely one of my travel essentials! 

2. SUNGLASSES

Sunglasses are a must have accessory for any sunny destination, especially the beach! Thankfully there are tons and tons of cute options to choose from at various price ranges! Right now I really love the mirrored styles (more here)!

3. BEACH BAG

With the growing fringe and pom pom trends, embellished beach bags have become such a fun accessory! So many brands have designed super cute totes that can easily be transitioned from the beach to day-to-day use!

4. MUSIC

I am someone that has to have background noise at nearly all times (I think this habit came from being from a big family :), and there is nothing better than beach music! I am always sure to bring a good portable speaker to the beach. Bose and UE are my two favorite brands for speakers, and this is the one I am currently using!

5. A GOOD BOOK

One of my favorite things about beach trips are beach reads! I don't know what it is about the beach, but it is definitely the place that I read the most. At home it seems like it can take me over a week to finish a book that I can read in a day at the beach. There is not much better than listening to the sound of the ocean and delving into a good book! Below you can find some of my recent favorite books! This one is a must read!
