Creating yesterday's Valentine's Day Gift Guide put me in the mood for all things pink, so I decided to put together and shoot a Valentine's Day outfit post for y'all! Whether you already have plans for Valentine's Day, have yet to make plans, or plan to spend the night with your bffs, I hope this pink and black outfit will give y'all a little outfit inspiration for February 14th.

I am personally someone who loves a good theme or an excuse to wear over the top colors (like wearing head to toe red and pink... I've definitely done this once or twice for V-DAY), but I chose to somewhat tone down the bright pink color of this pretty coat with other black and white items like these jeans and this black tote. This particular Tory Burch tote is such a classic bag and one that can easily go from day to night. I adore the sleek lines and chic bucket style of it, and the black color makes it extremely versatile. If you're looking for a great Valentine's Day gift, I totally recommend this bag! This black top is a wardrobe staple and one of my favorite finds under $100!

And onto the statement piece... this pink coat! Valentine's Day is always such a fun day to add a pop of pink to your outfit... even if you're not a "pink" person. Unfortunately this exact coat is sold out in this color, but I found this coat that is super similar. I actually kind of like the similar option better than my own coat, because the more muted color lends itself to being worn a lot more year round!
