Camel Coat + Stripes

This camel coat has been in the back of my closet since I purchased it this summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I was so excited to finally pull it out and wear it when the temperatures dropped again yesterday! I had been hoping to wear this coat more this fall but between our warmer temperatures in the South and not being quite sure what to wear it with, this camel coat spent a little too much time on the hanger.

When in doubt of what to wear a new coat/jacket with, three things I have learned that you can always stick to (no matter what!) are stripes, jeans, and sneakers. All three will never go out of style and always give off a casual chic vibe. When trying out a new outerwear piece, you can never go wrong pairing it with these three things. This striped button down is one of my favorites because of its super cute peplum detail, and I have been wearing these sneakers with truly everything lately. If you don't have a pair of Supergas, I highly suggest adding them to your closet. For under $75, they are one of the most worn pairs of shoes in my closet and definitely my most worn sneakers!

Lastly, I can't forget to mention this blush pink Neely and Chloe tote! This has become my new go-to bag for carrying everything from my planner to my camera, iPad, sunglasses, and everything in-between.
