A Morning at Lexington Farmers Market

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm excited to start posting more from my recent trip to Lexington, Kentucky! Stay tuned as I share more of my fun weekend over the next few days.

Whether I'm visiting a new city or in my hometown, one of my favorite ways to kick off the weekend is stopping by the local farmers market. Waking up to the smell of freshly cut flowers, the taste of colorful foods, and the sight of vibrant people always puts me in such a happy mood.

When I found out that the Lexington Farmers Market was only a block over from 21C Lexington, the beautiful hotel I got to call home last weekend (a big thanks to their team for hosting me!), I knew I had to stop by on Saturday morning.

Farmers markets are always so inspiring to me. I love seeing the hands and hearts behind the fresh foods and locally made products as well as soaking in all of the color everywhere. My favorite of all was Three Toads Farm's table filled with countless lilies. I wanted to take every last one of their lilies home with me. They smelled so heavenly! I also loved meeting Stephanie and admiring her beautiful art. I picked up a few of her pretty cards to bring home with me. Take a look at more of her work here.

The Lexington Farmers Market definitely did not disappoint, and looking back at all of these photos inspires me all over again. If you are ever in the Lexington area, be sure to add this to your list of "must do" things (more ideas of things to do at visitlex.com)!

P.s. I just started another Instagram account @lcbstylephoto where I hope to share more of the beautiful places I love and sweet faces I meet along the way while creating content for @lcbstyle and the blog. Throughout the past few years of blogging and getting to visit new places, my love of photography has grown and grown. You will rarely find me without my camera, and I have loved learning more and more about the art of photography. There are SO many photos I take that never see the light of day because they don't necessarily align with the content I share on @lcbstyle. Nevertheless, they are some of my favorite pictures and I want to share them with you! You can follow along here to see a little more behind the scenes of my blogging journey!
