Over the past couple years, there are a few brands that have become my go-to’s when shopping for cocktail or formal dresses. Tibi, Self Portrait, Alexis, and Black Halo are a few of the first brands that always come to mind whenever an event or trip comes up. These are brands I can always count on to have something that I am looking for.
While I go to Self Portrait and Alexis for more statement type pieces with lots of detail and texture, Black Halo is my go-to for classic, sleek designs that provide a blank slate for accessorizing and wearing over and over again. Their designs are so well made and the amount of wear you can get out of their solid, chic pieces is endless. While sometimes I do prefer a bold print or lots of texture, lots of times I am more drawn to Black Halo’s designs that give me so much more freedom to accessorize.
Today’s two piece set is from Black Halo and one I actually borrowed from my big sis (thanks Kat :). I paired it with these M.
