Hotel Review: Four Seasons Buenos Aires
OVERVIEW
Today I’m sharing another post from my December trip to Argentina- a full review of my stay at the Four Seasons Buenos Aires!
For the majority of our trip to Argentina, we stayed outside Buenos Aires near Pilar, but for the weekend of the Argentine Open Polo Final, we checked into the elegant Four Seasons Buenos Aires. I had heard amazing things about this hotel from friends and was so excited to finally visit!
I have so many thoughts to share on Buenos Aires and this hotel, but to sum it up our stay at FS Buenos Aires could not have been more wonderful. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, and the accommodations, dining, and service were all incredible. I could not recommend it highly enough or say enough great things about it!
Keep reading below on more specifics from our stay and scroll to the end to see more of my posts from my trip to Argentina!
ACCOMMODATIONS
Our room at FS Buenos Aires (a city view room with two twin beds) was was extra comfortable and extra luxurious. A couple of my favorite perks: a huge walk in closet and the most spectacular view! We were lucky to stay in a room on the top floor of the hotel with a breathtaking view of the pool, the Mansion, and downtown Buenos Aires.
The blue skies and sunshine poured into our room during the day and the city lights lit it up at night. I still haven’t quite decided which was my favorite- seeing the city bustling during the day or the night lights glowing against the dark skies.
FS Buenos Aires has lots of options for accommodations- see more of their gorgeous suites and Mansion rooms here.
DINING
FS Buenos Aires has three restaurants on property, each with their own personality and flavor: Elena, Pony Line, and Nuestro Secreto. On the first afternoon we checked into the hotel we enjoyed lunch at Elena and ate there again for a delicious buffet style breakfast. We also loved visiting Pony Line for drinks and dinner during our stay- every meal was delicious and service was so kind. I loved Elena for its chic European cafe feel and Pony Line for all of its equestrian inspired decor. The booths that run along one side of the Pony Line restaurant were designed to resemble stables, and the mix of leather and metal throughout the space is so unique.
ACTIVITIES
Pool
FS Buenos Aires boasts the only hotel pool in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The pool sits above ground level nestled between between the main building of the hotel and the Mansion. The setting feels straight out of a movie and too beautiful to be real!
Spa
The spa at FS Buenos Aires is a complete oasis!
Polo
There is no shortage of polo in Argentina, and FS Buenos Aires is only a short 10 minute drive from Campo Argentina de Polo- the venue of the Argentine Open. See more about polo and the Argentine Open in my post here!
LOCATION
FS Buenos Aires is located in the Recoleta neighborhood on the north side of Buenos Aires with lots of pretty parks, cute cafes, and beautiful boutiques within walking distance. While most of our days were centered around polo, I am dying to visit again and spend a lot more time exploring the city. See GOOP’s guide to Buenos Aires here for more ideas of shops/restaurants to visit!
