Stepping Into Spring: Midi Dresses

One of the words I would use to describe the past few weeks (and even months) of life would be fast. So many things happening all at once- decisions, plans, travels, changes, opportunities, challenges, celebrations, and more. So many things are taking place in this current season of life and so many things happening all at once.
One of my favorite places to visit where time seems to pause and sit still for just a moment is the beautiful Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL. While life has been whirling past, The Grand has remained a place to pause, reflect, rest, rejoice, and process all that is taking place in this season and what’s to come in the months ahead. It was such a treat to escape to the bay a couple weeks ago and take in the gorgeous views and bay breezes!
For the sunny but breezy weather, I packed and wore this blue long sleeve midi dress. The number of midi and maxi dresses in my closet has been growing rapidly over the past several months. They instantly elevate your everyday style and are so easy to transition from day to night and season to season. Right now, the temperatures in Alabama are all over the place, so midi dresses provide a little more warmth while still looking “springy.” The dress I’m wearing today looks just as cute styled with sneakers and a scarf as it does with heels and statement earrings. The dress I’m wearing is from Ulla Johnson last spring, so the exact style is unfortunately no longer available. However, I have found 13 more pretty midis and linked them all below.
One other thing I have to point out from today’s outfit is my new crossbody bag that Pamela Munson was so kind to send my way. I purchased and wore one of her bags throughout my trip to Argentina in December and received so many compliments on it. When her new spring collection launched a few weeks ago, she was so sweet to send me the beautiful new “Caroline Crossbody.” It’s the perfect size to fit your phone, wallet, and keys for everyday or a night out.
