Finishing up the recap of our girls trip to California in early May today- see my previous posts here, here, and here (or click the buttons at the bottom of this post)!

Day four of our trip was spent in Santa Barbara and was filled with more delicious meals, some shopping, and exploring! We woke up to a misty California morning and went for a short walk on the beach before heading over to The Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach for lunch by the ocean. If you are ever in the area, I would absolutely add this restaurant to your “must see/do” list. It was such a fun atmosphere and had a really beautiful view of this quiet and peaceful stretch of beach. The crab cakes were really yummy too :)

After lunch, we drove into downtown Santa Barbara and spent the afternoon shopping/ popping in and out of stores on State Street. One of my very favorite stops was Raoul Textiles- a showroom/ boutique filled with the most gorgeous hand printed fabrics and home furnishings that are all died/printed right there in Santa Barbara. I wanted to take one of everything and bring it home with me. The colors and prints are truly to die for. I took one million pictures and instantly began dreaming of a home filled with their pretty pieces. Read more about their amazing brand in this Architectural Digest article here.

Finally we ended our day with a delicious dinner at Belmond El Encanto! We made reservations pretty early so we could enjoy the sunset and one of the most breathtaking views of Santa Barbara. It was the perfect end to one of the most wonderful trips! As I type this, I’m dreaming and majorly wishing we could do it alllllll over again.
