Some exciting news to share today! Pearl by Lela Rose is coming to Birmingham, Alabama! Be sure to scroll to the end of this post to get all the event details, including a fun preview party tomorrow.
If you are familiar with Lela Rose and all her gorgeous fashion designs, you know how exciting this is. If you are not already familiar with Lela Rose, you absolutely should be! She is an NYC based fashion designer who was born and raised in Texas. Lela designs some of the most gorgeous day dresses, evening gowns, and wedding dresses and is known for her use of color, rich fabrics, and delicate details throughout her collections.
More recently, Lela Rose launched her new contemporary label, Pearl by Lela Rose, which is sold exclusively in an in-home trunk show setting. Pearl by Lela Rose offers an affordable luxury collection while creating an entertaining experience combining fashion, food, and fun!
Lela has combined her love for fashion with her love for entertaining, and every Pearl by Lela Rose collection has a “Signature Lela Cocktail” that is served at the in-home trunk shows. Lela loves to match her cocktail to her dress, and the cocktail for this season is the “Sunshine in a Glass,” an Italian Cocktail made with Prosecco and Cappeletti, similar to an Aperol Spritz. How delicious!
Today’s dress is from Pearl by Lela Rose’s newest Spring 2019 collection, which was inspired by her trip to Puglia, Italy last summer. Lela incorporated lots of color, stripes, and florals into the collection to make it perfectly polished and sweetly feminine. You can almost feel the Italian sunshine and crystal blue waters shining through each of the designs. So many of the items can be worn from day to night, work to weekend, and every event in-between. The Pearl by Lela Rose dress I’m wearing today first caught my eye because of its pretty white floral pattern, but the tiered skirt, bow tie at the waist, and ruffled sleeves are what completely won me over. While it is still about 40 degrees in Birmingham today, I am dreaming of spring and all the fashion that comes with it. I dressed this floral number up with a pair of tan heels (on sale here) and a blush pink handbag.
